This sweepstakes is sponsored solely by Do North Pizzeria & Pub, (hereafter Do North) and its store location. It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with SimplyTexting or any cell phone carrier.

No payment to the sponsor is required.

To Enter: Sweepstakes entrants must complete the mentioned steps in the text sent 10/18/2022 to be entered for a chance to win. Entrants were asked to text “pizza” and be automatically entered to win a free large single-topping pizza. SimplyTexting software automatically chooses winner. Do North will notify winner of next steps via text.

Odds: The odds of being a winner depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Official sweepstakes start and end dates: Sweepstakes start and end dates will be outlined on the entry form.

Eligibility: This sweepstakes is open only to those who sign up via the Do North texting program and who are of age required that is stated in entry form. Must be of age as of the date of entry. The sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Certain giveaways may only be open to residents of specific areas – see giveaway details for criteria. Employees of Do North and employees, its affiliates, subsidiaries, vendors, and suppliers, and immediate family members including those living in the same household are strongly discouraged from entering and participating in sweepstakes. The sweepstakes is subject to all applicable, federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.

Winners/Prizes: Prize winners will receive the prize outlined in the Sweepstakes text. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by Do North. No cash or other prize substitutions shall be permitted except at Do North’s sole discretion. The prize is nontransferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the winner(s). Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for Do North to use the winners name, photo, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

Absent unique circumstances, prize winners must claim the prizes personally. Only under unique circumstances will Do North allow a designated representative of the winner to claim the winner’s prize. Do North will determine, in its sole discretion, whether a unique circumstance exists. If Do North determines that a unique circumstance exists, Do North. will require that the designated representative of winner provide a written authorization letter from the winner directing that the representative claim the prize. The authorization letter must include the winner’s name, address, phone number, a copy of winners ID or driver’s license, and other information as determined by Do North.

Entries: Sweepstakes entrants are limited to one entry in each sweepstakes unless otherwise noted on the entry form. Sweepstakes entrants are prohibited from making multiple entries by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices to circumvent the one entry rule. Sweepstakes entrants using fraudulent methods, cheats, or otherwise attempts to circumvent the rules will have eligibility immediately terminated and will be banned from participation in future Do North sweepstakes.

Right to cancel: Do North reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or postpone the sweepstakes at any time and for any reason.

Technology errors: Do North is not responsible for any malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment, the unavailability or inaccessibility of any electronic transmissions including telephone and Internet service equipment malfunctions that interfere with sweepstakes entries.

Winner selection and notification: Winners will be selected by randomly under the supervision of Do North. Winners will be notified within five (5) days following selection of winners. If a winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 30 days from the time notification is sent, or fails to timely return required completed forms, the prize will be forfeited. Receipt by winner of the prize offered in this sweepstakes is conditioned upon compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Failure to claim: If a winner forfeits his/her prize or if a winner fails to claim prize within 30 days, winner will be deemed to have waived any right to the prize and Do North may, in its sole discretion, choose a runner-up winner or cancel the prize.

Terms and Conditions: Do North reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes in the event a computer virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Do North control disrupts or negatively impacts the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the sweepstakes. In such case, Do North may select a winner at random from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Do North. Do North reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the sweepstakes or website or violates these Terms and Conditions. Do North reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the sweepstakes, to void fraudulent or multiple entries including, but not limited to, entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for attempting multiple entries. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. In such event, Do North reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability: By entering the sweepstakes, sweepstakes entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Do North and its subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, employees, officers, directors, and shareholders from any liability for injury, death, loss, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, arising from: (i) such sweepstakes entrants participation in the sweepstakes and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the sweepstakes; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the sweepstakes or the processing of entries. Do North shall have no liability for winners failure to receive notices because of winners spam filters, junk email blocks, or other security settings or because winner provided incorrect or otherwise ineffective contact information.

Disputes: This sweepstakes is governed by the laws of Minnesota without respect to conflict of law doctrines. As a condition of participating in this sweepstakes, participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Minnesota having jurisdiction.

Additional rules or changes to these sweepstakes rules may be made by Do North at any time.
